- Plan ahead by creating a menu and grocery list
- Snack before you go to the grocery store to prevent you from spending excess time looking and buying more than you need
- Make sure to look at the date, if you want food that is going to last. Grocery stores like to stock their fridges FIFO (first in first out), which means that the ones closest to you will expire first.
- Whenever possible buy organic, and if everything organic just isn’t in your budget just a few important ones will do.
